Kent State will host Bernice A. King on Thursday to mark Black History Month,The planned speech is also part of the university's annual celebration that marks her father's life and legacy.Bernice is the CEO of the Martin Luther King Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change in Atlanta, Georgia.Aside from her work at the center, she also travels to promote nonviolent social change through policy, advocacy, research, education and training.Bernice led the 2013 'Let Freedom Ring' event that commemorated the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington and her father's 'I Have a Dream' speech.
